Alida Roberts – Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Supervisor – Ages 13 upwards
I believe it is important to give young people the space to talk freely and openly while supporting them through their issues and life events.
A young person may be experiencing:
– Depression – Anxiety – Abuse – Trauma – Breavement – Family issues – Parents/Guardians separating – Issues around sexuality – Bullying – Friendship issues – Peer pressure – School or college or work issues –
Therapy can be an opportunity to talk about these or any other issues that may be concerning them.
I have been in private practice in Wotton-under-Edge since 1999 and was a school counsellor for 6 years, working with 11 – 16 year olds. In my private practice I work with 13 year olds upwards, with parents and parents/child combinations. I also provide individual and group supervision.
My qualification include a Person-Centred and Transactional Analysis (TA) Counselling Diploma; an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy; an Embodied Relational Therapy Diploma and Advanced Diploma and a Diploma in Supervision.
